The MD M.A.T.T Approach to Addiction Treatment

Opioid addiction can impact people of all ages, backgrounds, and walks of life. At MD M.A.T.T., we treat every patient with compassion, understanding, and respect. We’ll work with you through a range of services to support your physical, mental, and emotional health to create a treatment plan that meets your unique needs.

Medication-assisted treatment (MAT) is the foundation of our care because it’s been proven to effectively reduce cravings and withdrawal symptoms, allowing patients to focus on building healthy coping skills. However, it’s important to note that MAT is just one part of a comprehensive treatment plan. We also offer counseling and therapy services to help our patients work through the underlying causes of their addiction. This approach helps those in recovery build the skills they need to lead fulfilling lives.

What sets us apart?

  • We offer same-day appointments to make getting care easy.
  • We use the latest technology to make our clinics more efficient and our care more accessible.
  • We provide resume-building and job interviewing help for those in recovery.

We also understand the vital role of the community in addiction recovery. Through group therapy and other resources, our patients build relationships with others who know what they’re going through. These connections provide support, accountability, and encouragement—all essential to a successful recovery.

Purpose and compassion are at the heart of everything we do.

Suboxone Treatment

In the same way those dependent on nicotine might take Nicorette to ease withdrawal symptoms and cravings, those recovering from opioid addiction take medications like Suboxone as part of their treatment plan.

Suboxone is a medication that contains buprenorphine and naloxone, two medications that work together to ease withdrawal symptoms and cravings. Buprenorphine is a partial opioid agonist which binds to the same receptors in the brain as opioids like heroin and prescription painkillers. This helps to ease withdrawal symptoms and cravings. Naloxone is an opioid antagonist, which means that it blocks the effects of opioids.

When taken as prescribed, Suboxone is a safe and effective medication that can help those in recovery from opioid addiction stay on track with their treatment.
